taxi turn :)
Sometimes you may have to turn around in a street where cars are parked on both sides and you cannot reverse around a corner for the same reason. This is where you can use the manouevre known as the 'Taxi Turn' so named due to the regular use by taxi drivers due to how quickly you can complete the manouevre.
Firstly make sure to drive passed the centre of the road as shown in this image and keep well to the left. Before you start the turn check all around you for pedestrians, cyclists and of course vehicles. NOT just your mirrors, you need to check blind spots also. Do not forget the road or gate you are using to turn into. When clear turn into the road and across the mouth of the junction. Before emerging make sure the road is still clear before pulling out.
